Sync Check Relays are available in physical configurations for retrofit
application of older electromechanical equipment as well as 19 inch rack
mounting. In addition to offering sync check relays that use conventional
phase angle/time, also offered are advanced sync check relays that use
phase angle/slip. The use of phase angle/slip has advantages for use in
applications with rotating phase angles (generators and asynchronous ties),
as well as those with static phase angles (synchronous ties).
