FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Protection Relay Seminar Offered August 9, 2002 - Learn how to improve the reliability of generator, transformer and interconnection protection in both utility and non-utility generation. Beckwith Electric is currently registering attendees for a Protection Relay Seminar to be held October 6-11, 2002 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Deadline to register is Friday, September 13, 2002. This intensive five-day seminar builds the background needed to understand the complex subject of generation/transformer and interconnection protection, even with a limited knowledge of protective relaying. Those who should attend include: utility engineers; consultants, especially those involved in IPP design; equipment/control design engineers; generator set manufacturers and packagers; as well as others who specify and develop settings for the electrical protection of generators and transformers. The cost of the seminar is $675 and includes course materials, lunches, morning and afternoon breaks, two dinners and the Sunday evening welcome reception.
