Project March 8, 2004 - Beckwith Electric has become the preferred supplier for major rehabilition effort on a crucial powerplant in Iraq. A major provider of premier technical, management, and directly related services to develop, manage, engineer, build, and operate installations for customers worldwide will be modernizing the Daura power station, situated on the outskirts of Baghdad. The Baghdad South power plant is also scheduled for modernizing. The reconstruction effort will include work on steam turbines, the water injection system, cooling system and transformers, and relay upgrades.Beckwith Electric is a preferred supplier.
