Beckwith Electric Hosts Dinner While PSRC Meets in Tampa, Florida
On January 13, Beckwith Electric hosted a dinner for many PSRC members "Under
the Sea" at the Florida Aquarium. Over 80 guests enjoyed the aquarium's
exhibits, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and a fast-paced update on Beckwith
Electric's recent innovations.
At the 2004 IEEE/PSRC Technical Conference Awards on January 22, 2004,
in Tampa, Florida, the technical paper entitled "Application of Peer-To-Peer
Communications For Protective Relaying" was selected to receive the
2004 Prize Paper Award for the IEEE/PSRC. The award was presented to both
Beckwith Electric VP of Engineering Murty Yalla and Product Manager of
Protection Wayne Hartmann, the authors of the paper.
