he 2006 IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution
Conference and Exposition, May 21-26, 2006. While we had all hoped
that the event could be held in New Orleans, it has become increasingly
clear that the rebuilding task in front of our friends in New Orleans
is far from over. As a result, the IEEE PES Governing Board has
decided to move the conference to the city of Dallas.
The Conference and Exposition provides attendees with
a comprehensive learning experience with presentations at the Opening
Session focusing on the major issues of the day. The Opening Session
is complemented by four Super Sessions that examine the Valuation
of Transmission Assets, The Future of Wind Power, Cyber Security
and Reactive Power.
Beckwith Electric invites you to attend the Transmission
and Distribution Conference for one day at the discounted rate of
$35.00.
How to register:
- ADVANCE: Go to www.ieeet-d.org
to register online.
(Note: You will need to enter the validation code "2022"
to register and receive the discounted rate.)
- ONSITE: Present the completed form to a Registration Agent at
the show. Click
here to download a discount form.
Beckwith Electric looks forward to seeing you at the show!

New M-2001C Models - More options at lower prices!
Beckwith
Electric now offers four M-2001C models to better match
user applications while offering price concessions including
the Comprehensive, Base-T, Base-RS, and Base-R.
- M-2001C Comprehensive
The Comprehensive can be applied to any LTC transformer,
substation regulator, or line regulator and provides
every feature, function and option available for a SCADA
communicating device.
- M-2001C Base-T
The Base-T is intended primarily for those LTC transformer
applications not requiring SCADA communications. It
includes all necessary communication and inputs for
transformer paralleling.
- M-2001C Base-RS
The Base-RS is our latest model and targets regulator
applications requiring SCADA communications through
RS485 but comes with a new lower price.
- M-2001C Base-R
The M-2001C Base-R is the most cost-reduced model targeting
line regulator applications that do not require SCADA
communications.

M-2948
& M-2949 Tap Position Sensors
|
-
Directly interfaces with the M-2025C Current
Loop Interface which provides the tap position to the
M-2001C Tapchanger Control
-
M-2948 measures a 0° to 288°
rotation, for use with a Qualitrol Position Indicator,
Model 081-002-01 or equivalent
-
M-2949 measures a 0° to 320°
rotation, for use with a Qualitrol Position Indicator,
Model 082-020-01, 082-001-01, or equivalent

Communicate with Remote Field
Assets!
M-2980
|
Be sure to visit booth #2022 to see the controls
that "speak" the SCADA language of distribution system
"field asset" automation. Beckwith Electric's new
CellNet/Atos (UtiliNet) enabled, SCADA-ready capacitor control
and line regulator control not only enable utilities to communicate
with end devices in the field, it provides distributed control
throughout the network. This enables you to make distribution
planning decisions based on data collected today or last year.
All this information is available directly from a control center
and without wires. |
