BSE Power Systems Engineer
The following represent brief/broad descriptions. It is not intended, nor should it be construed, to represent a comprehensive and/or exhaustive description of all duties/responsibilities and requisite skills associated with the position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer scheduling and tracking of system projects from lead development and proposal preparation through contract receipt and acknowledgement to design, material procurement, manufacturing, factory acceptance testing, shipping, billing and final installation and commissioning. Assist in logistics planning when necessary.
- Assist in the design of protection and control systems.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation of the system projects.
- Assist in preparation of technical and commercial bid proposals.
Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- BSEE or equivalent with a focus in power systems engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience in the application of protection and control systems for power generation, transmission and distribution.
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD in preparation of protection and control system one-line, elementary, and AC and DC control diagrams.
- Knowledge of international electrical standards, such as UL, IEC, ANSI, IEEE and CE
- Some travel possible
- Speak, write and read English fluently.
- Applicant should be self-directed, organized, and able to prioritize and multitask
