Mr. George Kosmas is the Regional Sales Application Engineer for Western U.S. and Canada for Beckwith Electric Co. Mr. Kosmas brings more than 20
years extensive experience from engineering as well as management roles
in the electrical power industry. His expertise is in protective relaying
and automation.
Mr. Kosmas began his lengthy career with Utah Power & Light Company
and Nevada Power Company, holding various engineering positions. Prior
to his current employment with Beckwith Electric Co, he was Regional Manager
for substation automation and protection support at AREVA/ABB. He has
also held a number of senior positions in companies supporting the electrical
utility industry and industrial markets including, but not limited to,
Western Regional Sales Manager at Atkinson Industries; Western Region
Application Engineer at Siemens; Western Regional Applications and Sales
Manager at Basler Electric; and Applications Engineering Supervisor at
ASCO Delta.
Mr. Kosmas received a BSEE degree from the University of Utah.
