DESCRIPTION: The Digital Motor Bus Transfer System M-4272 provides Automatic and Manual transfer of motor bus systems in power plants and industrial processing plants to ensure process continuity. Automatically selects Fast, Delayed In-Phase, Residual Voltage, and Fixed Time motor bus transfers, based on varying system conditions. Applicable for one way and bi-directional Manual and Automatic transfers and can be expanded to accommodate multiple breaker configurations. Stored targets and oscillography can be IRIG-B synchronized. Dual RS 232 ports and an RS 485 port provide user-interface communication access. The M-3872 ISScom™ Communications Software is included for direct serial or remote communication access. Waveform data can be downloaded using the M-3872 ISScom™ which allows for plotting and printing of the downloaded oscillographic data.

To ensure correct application of the M-4272 equipment there is an Engineering charge per each unique bus configuration for M-4272 units supplied loose. This consists of Engineering review and markup of customer's one-line, 3-line and DC control drawings, showing necessary external connections and required settings for programmable I/O to meet customer operating criteria, including simple ISSLogic ® programming.

Note: Engineering review of customer's wiring diagram is not included. If review of wiring diagram is also required, the price shall be determined after review of customer drawings.

For applications requiring extensive ISSLogic ® Programming to convert customer external control schemes to internal M-4272 control logic an additional Engineering fee per each unique bus configuration may be charged.
