UNIT DESCRIPTION:
The Load Shedding Relay System® M-3401 provides protection, control, monitoring and user interface functions. Includes protection for abnormal voltage, frequency, overcurrent, directional power, and VT fuse loss.  Sync-check and programmable reconnect time are also provided.  Stored sequence of events and oscillography are included as extended functions.  RS-232 and RS-485 communication ports provide user and SCADA interface capabilities.  The M-3812 IPScom® Communications Software is included for direct serial or remote communication access.  Waveform data can be downloaded using IPScom®, while the IPSplot®PLUS Oscillograph Analysis Software allows for plotting and printing of the downloaded oscillographic data.  Sensing voltage up to 480 volts, accepts 1 A or 5 A nominal current, phase rotation (ABC or ACB) and nominal frequency (50 or 60 Hz)
are user selectable in software.
