DESCRIPTION: The M-2001C Digital Tapchanger Control mounts easily to a variety of adapter panels, using four screws and a disconnect plug. The adapter panels correspond to original equipment manufacturer's controls and use mountings and wiring harnesses that match existing connections for quick and easy replacements. The M-2001C uses menu-driven software that prompts the operator with an easy-to-understand display. Remote communications capability is provided using the M-2029 TapTalk® Communications Software to monitor and program all functions via modem or direct serial connection. Communication protocols provided with the Comprehensive version of the M-2001C include: BECO 2200, BECO 2179, Cooper 2179, Cooper 2179A, GP 2179, GP DNP3.0, DNP3.0, MODBUS and UCA 2.0 with RS-232, fiber optic, and RS-485 (isolated) comm. ports on top of the control. Note: Only one COM port on the top panel is operational at a time. One RS-232 comm. port on the front panel is standard with all controls.
